The Supa Wild Bird Feeder is ideal for close-up observation of the birds while they feed.  The feeder is designed in such a way that the tray for the food has a lip to it which provides the birds with an ideal perch from which to feed.

The feeder can be used for Sunflower Hearts, general Seed Mixes, Fruit, Suet Pellets, Dried Mealworms and other wild bird treats. It is important to feed wild birds all year round particularly in the winter months and during the nesting & breeding season.

The feeder roof is tapered so that rainwater runs off it and the base has water drainage holes to ensure that any water getting into the base can escape and so does not cause the feed to become water logged.

The body and roof of the feeder is made from high quality polycarbonate & the suction cups are heavy duty which will ensure the feeder gives years of service.

The feeder will attract: Blue Tits, Great Tits, Coal Tits, Sparrows, Robins, Wrens, Finches and many other varieties of garden birds.

Product size with no packing is: 187mm (W) x 105mm (D) x 163 (H)

Instructions:
Ensure the window is clean & dry before offering the top suction cups up to the window at the required height. The suction cups should also be clean and it may be worth applying a dab of petroleum jelly to the cup before firmly pressing in place. Make sure there are no air bubbles between the window and the suction cup. Repeat the process for the other two suction cups once you have determined that you have sited the feeder level.

Cleaning:
It is always worthwhile cleaning your feeder occasionally with warm water & a mild detergent or a disinfectant solution to avoid a build-up of bacteria. Before refilling the window feeder ensure it has been thoroughly rinsed and dried. The Supa Wild Bird Cleaning Brush is ideal to help clean the feeder.

Warnings:
This feeder is not recommended for the feeding of peanuts.

Hints & Tips:
Keep the feeder topped up with food as the garden birds will not see the feeder particularly well as it is made from clear plastic which will blend in with the glass. In addition when feeding Sunflower Hearts and other food that is light in colour it may be worth mixing in some Berry Suet Pellets or Mealworms so that the feed has some colour to it which should help attract the birds.

Be patient with the birds as they will need to get use to the feeder. It may also be worthwhile making sure that in the house there are no sudden movements or bright flashing lights such as a television that will make the birds nervous of using the feeder.

Ensure in your garden that the wild birds have access to a source of water at all times. The Supa Wild Bird Water Drinker is ideal for this purpose.
